Absolutus 03:41
Hey man what’s there to do. Well “nothing much” he says “just think it through”. And at the end of the day, Life happens that way. Dust to ponder The mind as ash and wander Hey man what’s there to say? Read all those books, with world views and ways. But nobody would lend an ear, With words of worth yet nobody cares, But The Absolute

Driving down the road And I’m seeing faces again Nothing strange It’s just those evil marks Signs of that burning sin It tempts the mind and peers in like a window But quite often yours also Been smoking all night And my throat hurts again Nothing strange it’s just those habits Signs of nothing better to do Looks into your eyes and pulls the blinds too Another pack to last you the day Lost in your thoughts And you can’t grasp the concepts Nothing strange that you couldn’t tie it Signs of a curdled sickness weak Couldn’t focus on what was meant to be Another manic burst in new arms you find sleep And now your two daughters I keep em' under my wings Nothing strange that’s just an obligation I ain’t seen you in a year But sometimes I hear Signs of sins and your evil marks bleed the same blood from our hearts

Pass that powder over my friend Some more cane to numb the pains Among other things - Seen someone looking back my friend Can’t slow down now it ain’t their plow Couldn’t even try if you knew how - Break that bottle if you can my friend You’ll be dead and gone won’t be long Same old day with a different dawn - Split those pills up my friend Well up your nose ain’t where that goes But little care a junkie holds - Just get along my friend With you running down eating sight and sound Roll on back around

Cocoon 03:12
Do Do...… I can feel the warm air Feel it dance dancing across my skin Wrapping me in my cocoon It makes me feel safe again Awwww..... Do Do.... In my cocoon Earth says its time to learn change Sprout my wings be just like my butterfly Let me reach for the sky Awww...… Learning who I am with no one. Speaking over me that's not fun. Its not always rainbows and ducks. You don't always get what you want. Do Do.... I can feel the warm air Feel it dance dancing across my skin Wrapping me in my cocoon It makes me feel safe again Awww......

How can age weigh us apart? How can time tell when I can start? How low down is the morning? How ever present is the warning? Is my mind an absolute? Is it safe to ponder that route? Is that a light upon the horizon? Is the mode of thought a-tryin? Was comfort ever fleeting? Was it too much to stop the bleeding? Was the ride well worth it? Was the run really your purpose?

about

The sounds enclosed within this composition are comprised of many vibes that I gained through sickness. While I was experiencing the days from which the inspiration came to fuel these songs I was very ill physically. this in turn dampened my mental lens and out came these tracks. Though not all songs contain my words, for Cocoon was written by my wife Chesley. Another Rural album from a Rural man.
